Our Greatest Fear
This universe
fights
for peace
yet
a great fear
hangs
over us all
we fear
because of our human nature
we cannot overcome
this

there
is
not
enough
hope
among the nations

we bring up arms
against
each other
we have hope
of winning
what if what we are fighting
is
fear--
fear
of
no
freedom
fear
of
losing power
and even those who have power

fear
they will lose it
people fear
that they
will lose their money
they
fear
poverty

people fear
death
but fear
IS death
to those who let it come to them

the only way to stop fear
is
to Hope
hope
in what we have left to hold on to
and
Hope that
the nations will
stop fighting
I hope we can control our greatest fear
and hope…
hope
